Your new career in Propane energy

Our program gives you the courses you need for your CT G2 license.  Propane energy is growing more and more popular as homes and businesses look for efficient ways to power furnaces, water heaters, outdoor grills, and appliances. Growing right along with it are the jobs that maintain those systems. CETP Propane Training from ENTECH will put you right where you want to be — at the cutting edge of a growing industry. And because the Certified Employee Training Program (CETP) was developed by the Propane Education & Research Council, CETP students have the backing of the propane industry as they pursue their technical training.

A CT G License will allow you to install, repair, alter and maintain gas piping systems and approved gas appliances. To qualify for a G License, you must complete 1,000 hours (6 months) on the job training as part of a paid apprenticeship program. But the only schooling you need to be on your way is the ENTECH program.

Code books are needed for the following CETP Courses:

• Book 4.1 – Designing & Installing Exterior Vapor Distribution Systems
• Book 4.2 – Placing Vapor Distribution Systems & Appliances into Operation
• Book 4.3 – Installing Appliances and Vapor Distribution Systems
• Book 4.4 – Basic Electricity for Propane Appliance Service

Students must bring NFPA 54 (2012) and NFPA 58 (2014) to class.  Students who come to the class without the correct version will not be able to take the course.

Upon successful completion of each course, and submission of Skills Assessment you will receive certification from NPGA, the National Propane Gas Association.
